Mother’s Day is a special occasion to honor and appreciate the amazing women who have raised and nurtured us. At the Original Glorious Church, we believe that mothers are indeed a gift from God, and we are thrilled to be hosting a special Mother’s Day service to celebrate them.

In Proverbs 31:28-29, we read, “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.'” This is a beautiful reminder of mothers’ vital role in our lives and how much we owe them for their love and sacrifice.

Our Mother’s Day service will be an excellent opportunity to come together as a community and show our love and appreciation for all the mothers in our lives. We will have a beautiful service filled with inspiring music, heartfelt prayers, and a powerful message about mothers’ important role in our lives.

In 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, Paul writes, “But we were gentle among you, like a mother caring for her little children. We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you the gospel of God and our lives as well.” This passage highlights the nurturing and caring nature of mothers and how they often guide us and show us the way.

We understand that the past year has been challenging for many of us, so we want to make this Mother’s Day service extra special. We will have unique gifts for all the mothers in attendance and delicious refreshments to enjoy after the service.

In Ephesians 6:2-3, we are reminded to honor our mothers and fathers, “Honor your father and mother”—the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” This passage highlights the importance of honoring and respecting our mothers and the blessings of doing so.

Whether you’re a mother yourself or want to show appreciation for the mothers in your life, we encourage you to join us for this special service. You’ll be in good company, surrounded by a loving and supportive community of people who share your appreciation for the amazing women who have shaped our lives.
